Jonathan Thull, Counseling Intern

Jonathan is currently working as a Counseling Intern at JFS. Already holding a Bachelor’s degree in Psychology and a Master’s degree in Conflict Resolution, Jonathan is currently working on his Master’s degree in Clinical Counseling, as well as completing his credentials as a Licensed Professional Counselor Associate (LPCA).

At JFS, Jonathan works with clients of all ages and is currently developing a curriculum for children with ADHD, Aspergers or Social Phobia. He is trained in Child Parent Relationship Training (CPRT) which he will utilize in his work with families to teach parents how to connect with their children.

“I chose to my internship at JFS because it is exactly the type of place that I needed when I was child and struggling through school. JFS is a place where anyone in the community can feel safe and know that they are supported. We are not only helping Jews but also reaching out to strengthen the greater community. It is a great example of the mitzvot that we are commanded to follow.”

Jonathan is a social justice advocate and embraces the opportunity to teach youth about issues of social justice and conflict resolution.
