Sherri Zimmermann, Volunteer Coordinator

Sherri joined Jewish Family Services in the newly created position of Volunteer Coordinator. Sherri works hand-in-hand with the volunteers who generously donate their time, assembling Mitzvah Baskets, driving senior adults to appointments, visiting with homebound adults and working in the JFS office. She also supervises the food pantry and coordinates food drives with the various Jewish agencies in the Charlotte area.

Sherri received her Bachelor’s degree in Speech Communication from Texas A&M and her Master’s degree in Counseling and Human Development from Troy State University. She has multiple years experience working with non-profit organizations in a variety of leadership and volunteer roles. Prior to joining JFS, Sherri was a Lead Teacher with the LJCC J-Tots program.
