The JFS VolunTEEN program helps match teens with community service projects in the Greater Charlotte area.

The JFS Directory of Community Service Projects is continually evolving with more community service opportunities coming onboard monthly. The Directory provides easy access to an exciting array of opportunities that can satify requirements for:

• Bar and Bat Mitzvahs
• School community service hours
• Maccabi Mitzvah Projects
• Boy Scouts and Girl Scouts
• Clubs
• Family Projects
• And many more.

Some of the many volunteer interest areas are:

• Charlotte's Jewish community
• Children and Youth
• Health & Wellness
• Sports/Recreation/Hobbies
• Seniors
• People with Disabilities
• Hunger/Homelessness
• Animals
• Environment
• Lobbying for own

Here's what to do...

• Contact VolunTEEN Coordinator at the JFS office at Shalom Park

           704-364-6594 to set up an appointment to discuss your skills and interests

Join our VolunTEEN email list and receive notices of upcoming volunteer opportunities.

• Look through the JFS Directory of Community Service Projects and identify

           several that you are interested in. We will copy those sheets for you.

• Contact the organizations and make arrangements. Complete the VolunTEEN Contract
• When you're done, complete the VolunTEEN Community Service Project Evaluation
