With nearly 20 years’ experience providing professional level psychotherapy counseling to clients ranging from adolescent to geriatric, Corrie has extensive experience working with substance abuse, domestic violence, eating disorders, and other mental health and health problems.
Prior to joining Jewish Family Services, Corrie worked in private practice in New York providing psychotherapeutic services for emotionally disturbed and persistently mentally ill individuals. She has also worked in outpatient settings providing counseling to emotionally disturbed adolescents and battered women.
Corrie has received intensive training in Dialectical Behavioral Therapy and has led workshops and therapy groups related to depression management, addiction and suicidal behaviors and overall mindfulness for successful living.
Corrie received her Undergraduate degree from Pace University and her Master’s degree in social work (MSW) from Adelphi University in New York. She is a member of the National Association of Social Workers and prior board member of the New York State Society for Psychotherapy.
