Donate

Your donation helps strengthen and empower individuals and families.

Your gift could supply books and toys for play therapy, help a family access professional counseling services, stock the food pantry with essential supplemental items, or enrich the lives of seniors who attend cultural celebrations like our annual Senior Adult Purim and Chanukah Parties.

“I always donated to JFS never knowing that in my older years I would need them.”

Tribute Cards

There is no better way to honor and recognize the ones you love and respect than with a Tribute Card from Jewish Family Services. For weddings, birthdays, anniversaries, b’nai mitzvot, thinking of you reminders and sympathy in remembrance at times of loss, Tribute Cards honor those close to you while also supporting the work of JFS.

With each Tribute Card donation, we send a beautiful card acknowledging your thoughtfulness to the person and/or family that you are recognizing.

Planned Legacy Giving

By engaging, connecting and healing, JFS empowers people’s lives. You can see it in our past, you can feel it in our present and you can count on it in our future.  Our ability to help though, depends on you. Your bequest or planned gift goes a long way in meeting the needs of future generations.

There are many ways you can help JFS continue its mission to help others:

  • Charitable Gift Annuity
  • Charitable Remainder Trust
  • Charitable Lead Trust
  • Bequests
  • IRA or Pension Plans
  • Securities and Appreciated Stock
  • Life Insurance
  • Endowments

Food Pantry

The JFS Food Pantry provides personal care items and other necessities to individuals and families in need. As a special touch, during holidays like Rosh Hashanah and Passover, the holiday brigade (our volunteers) deliver special bags filled with traditional foods and holiday treats.

With an emphasis on maintaining dignity and restoring independence, JFS invites those who qualify to choose specific menu items when filling their pantry order.

Pantry recipients leave with more than just groceries – they leave with a feeling that the community cares about them and that they are not alone.

Mitzvah Baskets

JFS Mitzvah Baskets are beautiful centerpieces designed to celebrate your life-cycle simchas. Baskets are available as table centerpieces or as Bima baskets. Prices begin at $18.00. All proceeds support the JFS Food Pantry, as well as other programs and services that help our community. All costs are tax deductible.
