Counseling is available to all ages – from the young adult just starting out on a life of independence to the young family to the senior facing the stressful changes associated with aging. JFS therapists work with each client to establish mutually acceptable goals and to create an accepting and safe environment where clients can comfortably focus on his or her feelings and personal growth.

Therapy - Professional, licensed clinicians provide high-quality individual, martial, family and group therapy for individuals, couples and families. Social, emotional, health and family issues, divorce, blended families, employment of financial difficulties, issues of aging, coping with chronic illness, loss or the many hurdles of a disability can be overwhelming. JFS’s expert services, delivered with compassion and insight, provide the confidence and assistance you need to feel more control of your life and regain a positive direction.

Support Groups – Support groups offer a certain emotional comfort and moral support. Based on community need and response, JFS leads groups that focus on such topics as job seeking, parenting and caregiver support.

Domestic Violence – Unfortunately, family violence happens everywhere, in all communities. Would you know abuse if it was happening to YOU? Does someone you love intimidate you, insult you, control the finances, tell you that you are a bad parent, threaten you, or hurt you?  If you are experiencing abuse in your home, you are not alone. JFS can offer you a safe place to turn to. We can help you to understand what is happening in your home and empower you to create change and make the healthy choices necessary to take care of yourself and your children through therapy, connection to community resources and on-going support.
