Food Pantry Needs
JFS provides food, personal care items and other necessities to help individuals and families who qualify. The JFS food pantry recipients leave with more than just groceries – they leave with a feeling that the community cares about them and that they are not alone.
Accessing the JFS Food Pantry
Jewish Family Services provides food, personal care items and other necessities to help during difficult times. During holidays too, like Rosh Hashanah and Passover, JFS delivers bags with special holiday bags to those who might otherwise go without enjoying a bit of tradition.
With an emphasis on maintaining dignity and restoring independence, each week, JFS provides those who qualify, with a menu that allows the recipient to choose specific items when filling their pantry order. Qualified Food Pantry clients may visit the JFS Food Pantry once every two weeks.
